FAQ

Questions, answered

The things hosts most often ask before booking. Anything else, we're an email away.

How many guests can take part?

Bookings start at 15 guests, and the bar is stocked so every guest builds a full bouquet. Larger groups are very welcome; we simply scale the flowers and the space, so let us know your numbers when you enquire.

How much space do you need?

A level, sheltered spot of roughly 2 to 3 metres suits the stand and wrapping table comfortably. Indoors or outdoors both work; we will confirm the exact footprint for your setup when we quote.

How long does the experience run?

Bookings start at 2 hours, which suits most gatherings. Extra time can be added by the hour if your event runs longer.

Are the flowers seasonal?

Yes. We buy fresh from the Sydney Flower Market in the week of your event, so the bar reflects what is at its best that season. It also means specific varieties can vary; we always match the overall palette you have chosen.

Can the colour palette be customised?

Absolutely, and it is our favourite part. Tell us the colours of your event and we select blooms, foliage and ribbon around them, from soft neutrals to something bolder.

Is setup and pack-down included?

Yes. We arrive before your guests to style the bar and return to pack everything down, leaving the space as we found it. Both are included in every booking.

Do guests need any floristry experience?

None at all. The bar is arranged so choosing is easy, simple signage walks guests through it, and an on-site host can be added if you would like someone guiding people stem by stem.

How far does Florenne & Co. travel?

We are based in Sydney and serve Sydney & surrounds. Travel within 15 km of our base is included; beyond that, a small per-kilometre travel fee applies and is always quoted upfront.

What happens to unused flowers?

Any stems left at the end of the event are offered to you as the host, lovely for thank-you posies or to enjoy at home the next morning.

How early should I book?

Four to six weeks ahead is ideal, particularly for weekend dates in spring. A 50% deposit secures your date, with the balance due one week before the event. Shorter notice is sometimes possible, so it is always worth asking.
